Miss Jenny Foster, Miss Jenny Music School- West End, Brisbane, Australia.
“At the beginning of this year, I was struggling. I had a handful of students for whom exams and recitals were just not an option. This was making it difficult to keep them motivated and I feared they may stop coming to their instrumental lessons. This was hard to watch, because I knew they loved playing their instrument and wanted to progress. But their practice had reached a halt and I was running out of ideas. That’s when I discovered Blossoms Global Online Festival and I am so glad I did!
Students who rarely practiced were suddenly practicing every day, so that they could prepare for their entry videos. Anxious students who had never been able to perform were now able to, because they could hide their face if they wanted! And my neurodiverse students finally had a performance opportunity that was inclusive to their needs.
Blossoms Global online Festival has given a new lease of life to my music school and I cannot thank them enough for organising this amazing competition. Those students who lost motivation at the beginning of the year are now thriving.
If you are considering entering your students into the Festival, do it! You won’t regret it. In fact you might even end up entering yourself…”

Easter Celebrations
The whole school was involved in this wonderful celebration of music and performing arts at the Dunsford Academy primary school. Many of Blossoms Music students took part in solo and group performances during our recent Easter celebration including piano solo, guitar solo, ukulele group, samba drums group and choir. Some of our students performed their debut performances in front of parents and friends at the village hall. It was a fabulous afternoon, enjoyed by school staff, students and by all who came to watch.

At Blossoms Performing Arts, every concert has a purpose beyond the performance itself. The profits from our events are reinvested directly into schools and young people, helping to provide and update musical instruments, create suitable spaces for music lessons and rehearsals, and expand access to high-quality music education.
Our mission is simple: to bring more music to more children. We believe every child should have the opportunity to experience the creativity, confidence, and joy that music can inspire, regardless of their background or circumstances. By supporting our performances, audiences are also supporting opportunities for children who may not otherwise have access to music education, instruments, or creative spaces.
Through these efforts, we hope to nurture talent, inspire confidence, and ensure that music remains accessible, inclusive, and enriching for future generations.
The Beat Box- Warberry Academy.
At Blossoms Performing Arts, we are passionate about creating inspiring spaces where children can learn, perform, and grow through music. During the summer holidays of 2025, we invested in transforming a disused outdoor classroom at Warberry Academy into a fully functioning indoor music teaching space.
With plenty of hard work from Laura, Chris, and our trusty builder Adam, the area was completely renovated and reimagined as a large, multi-instrument teaching studio. What was once an unused outdoor space is now a vibrant hub for music education, used every school day for lessons in piano, ukulele, guitar, drums, vocals, and violin.
When the weather allows, we also take music outdoors, setting up the space beside the Beat Box for our weekly choir sessions — giving children the chance to sing, perform, and enjoy music together in the fresh air.
This project reflects our ongoing commitment to making music more accessible to young people and creating opportunities for every child to explore their creativity through the performing arts.
The Studio- Decoy Primary.
At Blossoms Performing Arts, we are always looking for ways to create more opportunities for children to access music within their school environment. To help expand the availability of peripatetic music lessons, we invested in purchasing and installing a summer house at Decoy Primary School, creating an additional dedicated teaching space for music tuition.
The project was made possible with the help of Joe — a school Dad and very talented carpenter — who built a solid base to ensure the floor was perfectly level before helping us construct the summer house itself. Thanks to his hard work and support, the space was transformed into a welcoming and practical environment for learning music.
Today, the music studio is used every school day for lessons in piano, ukulele, guitar, and singing, giving even more children the opportunity to develop confidence, creativity, and musical skills during the school week.
Projects like this are a key part of our mission to make music more accessible to young people and to ensure schools have the facilities needed to nurture a love of music for years to come.
Glockenspiels- Preston Primary.
At Blossoms Performing Arts, supporting schools with the resources they need to deliver high-quality music education is at the heart of what we do. As part of our Summer 2025 Concert Series, Preston Primary School applied to become one of our beneficiary schools, requesting support to complete their classroom set of glockenspiels.
The school explained that they were slightly short on instruments, making it difficult for every child to fully participate in class music lessons. Thanks to the support generated through our concert series, we were delighted to provide 10 brand new glockenspiels to help complete the set.
Laura visited the school to present the instruments in person, where they were gratefully received by both the children and their teachers. Seeing the excitement on the children’s faces reinforced exactly why we continue our mission — helping to provide more musical opportunities, more access to instruments, and more chances for young people to experience the joy of making music together.
Congratulations
At Blossoms Performing Arts, we would like to say a huge congratulations to all of our students who have recently completed their lesson books or achieved music grades. We are incredibly proud of each and every one of you for the dedication, perseverance, and hard work you have shown throughout your musical journey.
Learning an instrument or developing vocal skills takes commitment, patience, and confidence, and it has been wonderful to see our students continue to grow in both ability and self-belief. Whether you have completed your very first book, passed an exam, or achieved a personal goal you have been working towards, every achievement deserves to be celebrated.
Your enthusiasm and determination inspire us every day, and we cannot wait to see what you accomplish next. Keep practising, keep performing, and most importantly, keep enjoying the music.
Let's harmonise on social media!
